A Walk Around Kiplingcotes Chalk Pit

30 Days Wild, day 18: It's been a while since I went to Kiplingcotes Chalk Pit, near Market Weighton, so today I decided to go and have a wander around. It is too early to see many of the chalk grassland plant species which are not yet in flower, and so some of the insects like the marbled white butterfly, are not around either. I did see common blue butterflies and burnet moths, and the orchids are just starting to appear.
